Like A Local | Bologna – Part 1

5am one May morning, fellow bloggers Katie Antoniou, Frankie Murray and I, found ourselves on a train from Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport. We were travelling at an ungodly hour to conquer the foodie capital of Italy, Bologna. We were starved of sleep and breakfast seemed much too far away but my God, we were excited.

Our visit was to be a little unique; we weren’t visiting Bologna as tourists traditionally do, but as locals. Emilia Romagna Tourism together with the ingenious initiative Blogville had invited the three of us, as well as bloggers from all over the world to experience the city of Bologna as a local might and we were privileged to be taking part.
